Each application is a different equipment chain, and in each one a different factor decides the ratings.
The equipment catalogue is the same across applications. What changes is the constraint that governs the specification. In a factory it is often the starting of the largest motor. In a data centre it is the redundancy concept. On a battery or solar connection it is the reactive power the grid code asks for. Naming that constraint early saves more than any later optimisation, because it decides the rating and the rating decides nearly everything after it.
