What this site does with personal data, what it keeps in your browser, and why.
What is processed
When you send a quote request, a request list or a project request, the fields you complete and any files you attach are processed so that the request can be answered. That includes your name, company, email address and, if you provide it, your telephone number, and for a project the site, timing and grid connection details you choose to give. Each request is stored with its line items, the page you started from and any campaign parameters in the link you followed, such as utm_source, so that we know which page led to it.
To protect the form from abuse, your IP address is combined with a secret value and turned into a one way hash, which is kept for 24 hours to limit repeated submissions. The form also notes how long the page was open before sending, to tell people from automated scripts; that figure is not stored.
When you visit any page, the hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, the page requested and the time. This site sets no cookies.
Two features keep data in your own browser because you use them. The request list keeps the configurations you add in local storage until you send or clear it, so the list survives while you browse and switch language. An unsent quote form is kept in the session storage of that tab, so a reload or a language switch does not lose it. Contact details are not kept, and the draft is deleted when the request is sent or the tab is closed. Neither is sent to us before you submit, and neither is used to track you.

Who receives it
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores quote requests and attached files, acting on our behalf. Request data and files are stored in Cloudflare's European Union jurisdiction, and attached files are not sent by email: the notification carries a link to them instead. The confirmation email carries a PDF of your selections only, without notes or contact details. The full record of your request can be downloaded from the confirmation screen through a link that expires after 90 days. Resend delivers the notification and confirmation emails for a request, acting on our behalf; its account data is held in the United States under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Where a requirement is sent to suppliers, only the technical specification needed to quote is shared, under a project code. Names, company details and title blocks are removed from the files we forward, or the schedule is redrawn. Your contact details are shared only if you ask to be contacted directly. Data is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.
If analytics are added to this site, this notice will name the provider before it is switched on. None is active today.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Completing the quote form is voluntary, but a request without contact details cannot be answered.
