Transformer lead times, October 2026
What manufacturers, analysts and trade publications published in 2025 and 2026 about how long electrical equipment takes to make, by region. Each figure names its source and date. Read on 2 October 2026.

A lead time runs from a firm order to dispatch from the factory. The figures below are what sources published, so read them as the direction of the market rather than as a promise for any one order.
Two things move the number for a given order: when the clock starts, at the order or at drawing approval, and whether the unit is a catalogue design or built to a specification. Daverlan publishes no lead time of its own. Every offer states the maker's lead time for the specification and quantity asked for.

Where the figures are thin
Published figures come mostly from the US. For the UK, the only statement found gives no number, and for the Gulf the figures come from regional reporting and one consultancy. No figure published in 2025 or 2026 was found for compact substations or ring main units.
